Casino Bonuses
It is very important that anyone considering accepting a bonus reads the terms and conditions of the deal. The terms and conditions are often complex and misleading. Many Casinos use phrases like weighting and turn requirement to complicate the issue further. Due to this RouletteRaid has decided to publish our Casino Bonus Survival Guide below.

Important Phrases
Example
Mr Bloggs joins a Casino offering a New Player 1st Deposit Bonus of 150% up to £150 free. The offer has a minimum deposit of £35 and a wager requirement of 20 times.
Mr Bloggs deposits £100 in his account. To receive his bonus he must wager
20 x £150 = £3000
However, Mr Bloggs only plays roulette, which at most Casinos means he will be penalised further by the weighting value which is 20% for Roulette. So for every £3000 he spends, this only counts as £600 towards his wager requirement
£3000 x 20% = £600
This means that for Mr Bloggs to receive his £150 bonus he must not make a withdrawal request before he wagers a staggering
3000 / 600 = 5 x 3000 = £15,000
Mr Bloggs in the example above would have to wager £15,000 with a house edge of 2.7 %. This will result in the Casino expecting Mr Bloggs to have a loss of
15,000 x 2.7 % = £405
Since the Casino gave Mr Bloggs £150 signup bonus, after subtracting the expected loss of £405, the Casino expect Mr Bloggs balance to be
150 - 405 = - (£255)
Rule of Thumb
There are wagering requirements attached to each bonus before the players bonus or winnings may be withdrawn. Details of the wagering requirements for a bonus should be included in the terms and conditions and apply to the total amount of deposit PLUS bonus. If you attempt to withdraw a deposit prior to the completion of these wagering requirements then you will permanently surrender your bonus and any winnings accumulated. In most cases you are going to have to wager at least 20 times the Bonus amount before you can see any of that money. However certain games, including Roulette and Blackjack, have lower weighting than others. Typical values are listed below :
